Dual Battery Guide

Introducing the Dual Battery option for your MOD BIKE! Enhance your MOD BIKE riding experience with the option of a secondary battery. This will allow you to extend your riding range with unstoppable performance. 

Compatibility 

The dual battery feature is ONLY compatible with Cargo, V3 Easy, Ape Hanger and Groove MOD BIKES models. V3 models will have 4 predrilled mounting holes. 

The MOD Cargo comes with a built in second housing for an additional battery. You will not need the dual battery kit, just the additional battery.

How it Works

• The MOD battery has an on/ off button. If both batteries are turned on, they will drain simultaneously, but your range will be extended because there is dual power coming from 2 batteries. 
• You also have the option to manually turn one on at a time. The first battery will drain, then when dead, you can turn on the second battery and the power will switch over.

How to Purchase

1.  Easy 3, Ape Hanger and Groove : We offer the Dual Battery Kit which includes all the components you need for installing the secondary battery. (includes battery, transformer, housing, and charger)

2.  Cargo : The Cargo bike can be purchased with the dual battery option here. If you already have the Cargo bike and are only needing the additional battery, that can be found here.
