Get connected! Seamlessly connect your Lumos Ultra helmet to your MOD BIKE via Bluetooth connectivity, unlocking the helmet's turn signals and brake lights to enhance rider safety.

We're excited to announce our partnership with Lumos! As leaders in the industry with the world's smartest bike helmet, we're excited to introduce the first feature of MOD Connect: integrated turn signals and brake lights.

Compatibility

MOD Connect is only available with our S3 color display (March 2024) and the Lumos Ultra Helmet.



How to Connect

Follow our MOD Connect Setup Video Guide or the steps below for a visual step-by-step of how to connect the Lumos Ultra helmet to your MOD BIKE.


  1. Connect the Lumos Ultra helmet to the Lumos app
  2. In the app, if you see a popup requiring a software update, update the software
  3. Turn on your bike
  4. Hold the + and - button for 2-3 seconds to bring up the settings menu on the bike
  5. Select Setup > Bind Helmet > Bind new helmet
  6. On Lumos helmet, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds until the lights begin to flash orange
  7. On the bike display, select the helmet
  8. You will see a success message once paired successfully
  9. Wait about 30 seconds for the connectivity between the bike and helmet to complete
  10. Once paired successfully, you will see a helmet icon on your display home screen.



Turn Signals, Brake Lights and Auto off

Once your helmet is connected to the bike, your Lumos helmet turn signals and brake lights will be enabled. 


Turn Signals : To operate the turn signals, press the left or right buttons on the control panel to activate the corresponding light on the back of the Lumos helmet. The light will flash until the left or right button is pressed again then the light will turn off.


Brake Lights : When you hit your brakes on the bike, both lights on the back of the Lumos helmet will flash to alert others that you are coming to a stop.


Auto off : Through MOD Connect, the helmet will automatically turn off when bike is powered off.
