MOD BIKES Return Process

Modified on Thu, 30 Nov, 2023 at 3:41 PM

Thank you so much for purchasing a MOD BIKE. We are sorry that it didn't meet your expectations. We are here to make sure that the returns process goes through smoothly. When returning your MOD BIKE please follow these steps:

***It is important to understand that if your return does not follow the steps below it may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%. If the bike damage is worth more than the restocking fee, we reserve the right to decline the return altogether. For this reason, it is very important that you follow the instructions we provide below on how to package and ship your bike.***

PACKING YOUR MOD BIKE

  1. Disassemble your bike according to how you first received it; the easiest way to achieve this is to follow the assembly guide for your bike in reverse order. Ordinarily, this involves removing the front wheel, the pedals and detaching the handlebars. If you are unsure of how it initially arrived, please submit a ticket here and we will be happy to help you out.
  2. Be sure to take photos of any pre-existing damage to the bike for your records. ***PLEASE NOTE - This only applies to damage sustained during transit from our shop to your home.***
  3. Pack the bike carefully, using foam to cover the frame and components. if you no longer have the packing materials the bike was shipped in, you can inquire at your local bike shop. Make sure that there is enough foam in the box so that the bike won't shift around during transit, and don't forget to add padding below the crank and front fork. ***PLEASE NOTE - Any bike that arrives back to our shop damaged due to poor packing will be subject to a 25% restocking fee or refusal of the return, so please package your bike up the same way you received it.***
  4. Please ensure all bike components and accessories are included in the shipping box. This includes toolkits, chargers, keys, batteries, and accessories purchased along with your bike.
  5. Put your disassembled bike back into its box. If the original box is no longer usable, please inquire at your local bike shop; they usually have plenty on hand. We highly recommend you do not use any other box than one designated for bike transportation to ensure that you will have ample room to pack the bike.

SHIPPING YOUR MOD BIKE

  1. Please print the return label attached to the return email and securely attach it to the box. It's recommended that you use packing tape to cover it so it does not become illegible during transit.
  2. If you have more than one package to ship, you will receive a separate email for each label. The labels need to match the package according to the weight and dimensions specified on the shipping label.

REFUND PROCESS

  1. Once your bike arrives at our shop, we will begin the inspection process. Once the inspection is complete, we will process your refund. This process can take up to 3 business days. The refund will be processed to the original method of payment. We are unable to refund your money to any method other than the one used during the initial purchase.
  2. Please be aware that it can take up to 10 business days for the funds to be posted to your account. This time is determined by your financial institution. You will receive a notification that the refund has been processed, so if there is any extended delay please reach out to your financial institution so that they can make your funds available.

Once again, thank you for your purchase of a MOD BIKE. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.
