Display Screen Issues

The steps in this guide can rectify a number of issues, but if none of these procedures resolve your issue, please submit a ticket to our support team here.

Typically the 'i' button turns on the display, but if the bike is not powering on we can start with a simple checklist.

  • Ensure your battery is turned on; besides the MOD Easy and the MOD Berlin, all our bikes have a battery with an independent power switch on the side.
  • The batteries for the MOD City must be turned on with a key.  MOD Blacks have a power button located on the top of the battery that must be activated for the bike to receive power.
  • All our bikes other than the MOD Easy have a power level indicator on the battery. With your battery powered on, press the button by the indicator to see what level your battery is at. If you do not get a reading from the indicator, your battery most likely needs to be charged.
  • Your charger LED will be green when on standby and red when charging. If the LED on your charger does not turn red, but your battery indicates that it is depleted, you might have a faulty charger or battery.
  • Ensure your display is connected to the system. The julet connector for your display is located inside your cable sleeve. Unzip the sleeve and cut any zip ties necessary to gain access to it. The inside of this connector is green. Double-check that it is fully seated and connected. If it is unplugged, reattach it; it's very important you line up the internal notches of the julet connectors or the connector will get damaged.
  • If you own a MOD Easy or City+, you should also check to make sure the julet connector from your display to the control panel is also securely attached.
  • If you own a MOD Easy, you should also check to make sure that the cable that connects your display to the control panel is also securely attached.
