MOD Easy 2 Tips & Tricks

Congratulations on your new MOD Easy! Here are a few tips and trick that are model specific to your MOD Easy 2.

  • Secure Your Battery : Single loop wrap your battery straps! Your Easy battery comes with straps to hold the battery in place. DO NOT WEAVE THE STRAPS THROUGH THE BRACKETS! A single loop will allow for a much tighter hold and security for the battery when you're riding.

  • Space Between Components : The security of your battery will minimize the shifting and sliding of your battery during rides and will not crush the cable connections and controller.

  • Charging Port : The MOD Easy and Ape Hanger both contain a charging port under the tank, so you do not need to remove the battery every time you need to charge.

  • Mounting Locations :  The Easy and Ape Hanger have pre drilled, mounting locations specifically for both a water bottle and foldylock.

  • Headlights : Hold the + button for 2-3 seconds to turn your headlights and tail lights on and off.

  • Version Number: The version number of your bike can be found on the rear of your seat post. If your bike does not have a number, it is version 01.

  • Keys : Don't loose your Easy keys! They are necessary for opening the tank, which contain the battery and controller.

  • USB Port : There's a hidden USB port at the bottom of the display screen and will charge certain devices on your ride!

  • Error Code 25: Be sure not to hold the brakes when turning the bike on! This will activate Error code 25 on your display.

  • PSI : The proper PSI can be found on the side of your tire. This will let you know the correct pressure to inflate your tire to.
