We are very excited about the design updates to the MOD Sidecar!
Starting with the chassis, we have lowered it and added a front step making it easier to climb in and out. The front wheel now has a full fender and has been moved forward to make the Easy Sidecar combo more maneuverable as well as widen the space between the sidecar and bike to facilitate ease of pedaling.
We completely re-engineered the tow arm and security points for the sidecar plate. We replaced the security pins with custom-made quick-release skewers to create a stronger hold. We also replaced the old fiberglass sidecar boat with roto-molded polyethylene resins making the sidecar unit significantly lighter than before.
