MOD Black Tips & Tricks
Congratulations on your new MOD Black! Here are a few 'tips and tricks' that are model specific to your MOD Black.
- Headlight : Hold the + button for 2-3 seconds to turn your headlights and tail lights on and off.
- Shock Valves : The top shock valve is irrelevant. The bottom valve is what matters for pumping the shock properly. When pumping the bottom MP shock, we highly recommend using a shock pump. The MP requires a much smaller amount of air and the smaller increments from the shock pump will accommodate that better.
- Lower Seat : You'll notice that the seat post on the MOD Black has a curve to it, which hinders the seat from lowering all the way down. If you need your seat to lower all the way down, you'll need to remove the seat completely and cut the seat post down so that it will not get "stuck" on the curve.
- Speed Magnet : Speed is measured by the magnet in rear wheel spokes. Make sure the flat side of your magnet is completely facing the speed sensor.
- Version Number: The version number of your bike can be found on the rear of your seat post. If your bike does not have a number, it is version 01.
PSI : The proper PSI can be found on the side of your tire. This will let you know the correct pressure to inflate your tire to.
- Error Code 25: Be sure not to hold the brakes when turning the bike on! This will activate Error code 25 on your display.
- Serial Number : The serial number for your bike can be found at the bottom of the head tube.
- USB Port : There's a hidden USB port at the bottom of the display screen and will charge certain devices on your ride!
